By using Secret Letter, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the practical limits of a link-based delayed letter service.
Using Secret Letter
You may use the service to create lawful personal messages. You are responsible for the content you submit, the people with whom you share a link, and keeping a copy of any information you cannot afford to lose.
Not permitted
Do not use the service for harassment, threats, impersonation, fraud, illegal content, malware, spam, attempts to identify or harm another person, or activity that interferes with the service. Automated or excessive creation may be rate-limited or blocked.
No guaranteed delivery
Secret Letter creates a link immediately and controls when the message becomes readable. It does not guarantee email delivery, physical delivery, reminders, notification of the recipient, or that the recipient will keep the link.
Privacy and confidentiality limits
A unique URL is not the same as encryption or an identity guarantee. Anyone with the link may be able to access the page. Do not submit high-risk secrets or information that requires a regulated or guaranteed communication channel.
Availability
The service is provided as available and may change, experience downtime, lose functionality, or discontinue. Do not rely on it as the only copy of an important message or as an emergency service.
Removal and enforcement
Content or access may be removed or restricted when reasonably necessary to respond to abuse, security risks, legal obligations, operational needs, or violations of these terms.
